Vacancy Details :

There are about 1700 vacancies in different departments altogether for the post of Scale- I, II, III Officers namely JMGS-I (650), MMGS Scale-II (652), MMGS Scale-III (408) in different states like Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Goa, Gujarat, Kerala, Bihar, Delhi, Chandigarh, Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland etc. The no. of vacancies may vary from time to time as per the changing norms of the Central Government.

Eligibility Criteria :

The applicant should have done Graduation from a University / Institution recognized by the Government of India. The candidates who have done CA or MBA with minimum 3 to 6 years of experience can also apply. Age Limit

  • For the position of JMGS Officer Scale-I, the candidate should possess a minimum age of 20 years and maximum up to 30 years.
  • For MMGS Officer Scale-II minimum age limit should be equal or more than 26 years and maximum up to 35 years.
  • For the Post of MMGS Officer Scale-III minimum age should be 23 years and maximum up to 35 years.

Application Fee :

The applicant has to pay this following amount of fees for this examination. The Unreserved Category i.e. Gen/OBC has to pay Rs. 700 and the SC/ST/PWD candidates have to pay Rs.150 only as the application fee. The reserved category students are advised to attach the supporting documents to get the reservation. Once the fees are submitted, it'll not be refunded back.

Exam Pattern :

IPPB 2017 comprises of following sections like Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge, English Language, Reasoning. It is a computer-based examination. The total number of questions are 200 where each question is of 1 mark each. The exam is for 2 hours and 20 minutes. The medium followed is bilingual.
