KSWU Results 2013:- Karnataka state women’s University , is the first university for women in Karnataka. To take a point of girls study this is a well known university. This university was located in Bijapur. Karnataka. This university was established in 2003 and recognized by the University Grant Commission. This is dedicated to the girls’ education. The vice chancellor of this university was Dr Meena Chandavarakar from Bagalakot. The University provided different kinds of undergraduates degree courses.
The departments of this university which offer undergraduate and postgraduates degree programs are Arts, Science, Education, Fashion Technology, Home Science, Physical Education, Science and Social Work. And another 20 PG courses. Diploma courses are also provided for the student in the subjects Arts, Science and Technology. It is recognized under DEC for Distance Education across India and abroad. The university is dedicated to promote excellence through academic achievement, research, creativity, innovation, interaction and collaboration, personality development and leadership qualities.

The motive of this university was to equip women with the necessary qualities to play an equal role in decision making in matters of importance to herself, family and society.
