Kumaun University Results 2013:- One of the most , well known university of India is Kumaun University. This is located in the Nanital , Uttarakhand  in India. Establishment of this university in 1973, under the Act of UP state. At that time university contain 3 campuses one is in Nanital , Almora and last one is in Bhimtal. The Total area which is covered by this university in near about 160 acres. The campus of this university is designed in a beautifully mannered with completing the breathtaking scenery. The main aim of this university was to promote higher education in technical and research field.

A residential cum university was established on December 1, 1973 under the Act of the state legislature and a permanent member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), which was affiliated with the university of Kumaun. This university has been rewarded with the Four star status by the National Assessment and Accrediation Council (NAAC). Kumaun  university is the one university who is certified by an ISO 9001-2008, which follows International Quality Management System.

Kumaun University has many departments with the under graduate and post graduate degree courses. The name of some departments are Commerce with the degree course of B. Com. Other departments are Arts, Medical Science, Law, Econimics, Arts. All these are related with different degree courses. The important thing in this university was many herbs, shrubs and trees as well as rocks and minerals constituting eco-systems that can be studied.
